Life in The UKBritain today is a very diverse country. Besides English and welsh, people also speak Scottish, Irish, Punjabi, Cantonese, Greek, Italian. In addition the UK had two sides: bustling city life and a quiet countryside with castles and preserved houses.
As far as home life goes, it doesn't differ from most of the modern world. Men and women are marrying at around 30 years of age and ⅔ of mothers work ("Life in the UK"). People consume media through the internet and television primarily. Finally people also get around via car, bus, and train. |
Beauty In The UKThe most beautiful part of britain is it’s landscape. The UK was once covered in ice and when the ice eroded, a mountainous landscape remained ("GCSE Geography - Physical Landscapes in the UK - AQA - Revision 1"). Below are some examples of such landscape.

Issues in The UK
With the second round of Brexit negotiations occurring, the top five issues facing Britain are related to EU and UK talks. The following list has been borrowed from CNN’s Ivana Kottasová list for CNN Money US.
The first issue is trade. Britain enjoyed free trade with the EU, and while being a member, the EU was responsible for 53% of imports and 44% of exports (Kottasová). Now the country is faced with drawing up new trade agreements that have potential to cost the UK even more money. This issue can’t be settled until other issues are settled due to the nature of things like the divorce bill.
The second issue is migration. Unemployment is currently at an all time low for britain, however employers are struggling to find employees (Kottasová). Theresa May promised to reduce the number of migrants coming into the UK, an approach that won’t make brexit talks more easily bend to here favor.
The third issue is the divorce bill, or the UK’s promise to pay for its spending commitments from its tenure as an EU member. The current EU budget, which all members pay into, extends to 2020. The current estimates, about $112 billion, have made Theresa May threaten to not pay at all. (Kottasová). Another move that won’t contribute positively to negotiations.
The fourth issue is the rights of citizens. The EU wants to retain liberal rights for both the UK and members of the EU. With 3 million citizens living in Britain from EU bloc members and 1.2 million britons living in the EU, both the UK and the EU say they want to protect the rights of all citizens (Kottasová).
The fifth issue is the border with ireland because The Republic of ireland is going to remain a member of the EU. Currently, people enjoy free movement between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and both the EU and the UK want to stay away from a hard border between the two (Kottasová).
